Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These terms explain how you may use our website and summarise the key terms that apply when you ask us for a quotation or buy a veranda from us. Please read them carefully. If you go ahead with a project, your signed quotation and Construction Contract set out the full terms for your project. If anything in them differs from this page, the signed documents apply.

1. About us

This website is run by Usta Veranda Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company number 16135823). Registered office: 48 Marnham Crescent, Greenford, England, UB6 9SW. Showroom: Unit 2, Cranleigh Gardens Industrial Estate, Southall, London, UB1 2BZ. VAT number GB 495 7190 45. You can contact us at info@ustaveranda.co.uk or on 020 3325 9871. Full details are on our Company Information page.

2. Using our website

  • The information on this website is for general guidance. We work hard to keep it accurate and up to date, but product details, specifications, finishes and availability can change.
  • Photos, colour swatches, 3D visualisations and sample images are illustrative. Real colours, glazing appearance and light levels vary with daylight, surroundings and screen settings. Please ask to see physical samples in our showroom.
  • Prices shown by our price estimator, finance calculator or 3D configurator are indicative estimates only. They are not an offer or a quotation. Your price is confirmed in a written quotation after we have taken measurements.
  • You must not misuse this website, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access, introducing viruses, or copying content for commercial use.

3. Quotations and your contract

  • A quotation is valid for 30 days from its date, or until the end date of any promotion included in it, whichever is sooner, unless the quotation says otherwise.
  • Quotations are based on the information and measurements available at the time. We will carry out a technical site survey before manufacturing. If the survey shows that the work or materials need to change, we will tell you and give you a revised price before going ahead. You don't have to accept a revised price.
  • Your contract with us starts when you sign and return your quotation (Project Agreement) or confirm acceptance in writing.

4. Payments

  • Standard payment terms: a 25% deposit when you sign, to secure your installation date and order your bespoke materials; 50% when manufacturing starts; and the final 25% on completion of the works.
  • Finance: if you choose finance, you apply through Ideal4Finance after agreeing your quotation. If approved, a minimum 25% deposit is paid by debit or credit card and the remaining balance is covered by your finance agreement, subject to status and lender approval. Finance is available on professionally installed projects only. See our Finance page and finance disclosure.
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard and bank transfer.
  • Your veranda is made to your exact measurements and specification. Your deposit becomes non-refundable once your bespoke materials have been ordered and manufacturing has started. This does not affect your statutory cancellation rights set out in section 5.
  • All materials remain the property of Usta Veranda Ltd until the full balance has been paid.

5. Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer and you agree the contract with us away from our showroom (for example at your home) or at a distance (for example by phone or email), you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering the contract, without giving a reason. To cancel, tell us clearly in writing at info@ustaveranda.co.uk.

  • If you ask us to start work (including ordering or manufacturing your bespoke materials) before the 14 days have ended and you then cancel, you may have to pay for the work done and costs reasonably incurred up to the point you cancel.
  • Some made-to-measure goods produced to your specification may not be cancellable once production has started. We will explain this before asking you to confirm that we can start.
  • After the 14-day period, if you want to cancel please contact us as soon as possible. We will refund any money you have paid, less costs we have reasonably incurred, including bespoke materials already ordered or made for you.

6. Planning permission and building regulations

  • Many verandas fall within permitted development, but this depends on your property and its location. You are responsible for checking and obtaining any planning permission, building regulation approval, landlord or freeholder consent needed before installation. We are happy to give general guidance.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for problems caused by missing permissions or consents, or by action taken by a local authority because of them.

7. Before and during installation

  • We install within 50 miles of our Southall warehouse (UB1 2BZ). For projects further away, please contact us before ordering.
  • Installation dates are estimates and may move because of weather, supplier delays or site conditions. We will keep you informed and agree a new date with you.
  • Please make sure the installation area is clear, that we have safe access and a power supply, and that your existing patio or base is sound. If it isn't, we will discuss options before going further.
  • Please keep children and pets away from the work area during installation.
  • We will keep the work area tidy and remove and dispose of construction waste.
  • Usta Veranda Ltd holds Public Liability insurance. Please keep your own home insurance in place during and after the works.

8. Our 10-year warranty

Our warranty is in addition to your legal rights. It does not affect your statutory rights.

  • 10 years: structural integrity of the aluminium frame (including resistance to rust and corrosion); roof glazing: glass and polycarbonate against breakage, and polycarbonate against UV-related yellowing and clouding; glass sliding door frames and tracks; installation workmanship.
  • 5 years: fabrics: retractable pergola PVC roof fabric, zip screen and blind fabrics; and remote controls.
  • 2 years: motors (louvred roofs, retractable pergolas, zip screens, blinds); LED lighting; silicone and sealants (including door seals) against leakage under normal conditions.
  • The warranty starts on completion and handover of your installation. It applies to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
  • How to claim: email info@ustaveranda.co.uk with your project reference or proof of purchase and photos, within 30 days of discovering the problem. If the warranty applies, we will repair or replace the affected part at no cost to you.
  • Not covered: damage from severe weather events (such as storms or hail), accidents, misuse or neglect; minor cosmetic marks, scratches or discolouration from environmental pollutants; modifications or repairs carried out by anyone other than us; and issues arising from missing planning permissions or consents.
  • Looking after your veranda: clean with a soft cloth and warm soapy water, avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners, and keep sliding door tracks free of debris.

10. Our responsibility to you

  • We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
  • We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • If you are a business customer, we are not responsible for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.

11. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, photos of our installations, graphics and logos, belongs to Usta Veranda Ltd or is used with permission. You may view it and share links to it, but you must not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

13. Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything we have done, please contact us at info@ustaveranda.co.uk or 020 3325 9871 with your project reference. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to give you a full response within 14 days. If we need longer, for example to arrange a site visit, we will tell you why and when you can expect our response.

14. Personal information

We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Notice.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to your use of the website. The terms in force when you signed your quotation apply to your project.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
