Every Usta Veranda installation is engineered to the exact millimetre of your terrace or patio. Our robust structural aluminium profiles can achieve clear spans of up to 6 metres on just two front posts, avoiding central columns that block garden views.

Roofing Options: Glass vs Polycarbonate

The configurator calculates instant indicative pricing based on your chosen dimensions, structure colour (Anthracite Grey RAL 7016, Jet Black RAL 9005, Traffic White RAL 9016 or Cream RAL 9001), roof glazing specification, and optional accessories. We offer two clear ways to complete your project:

Do I need planning permission for a veranda in the UK?
It depends on your property, its location and the size and position of the veranda. Many verandas can be built under permitted development rights, but this isn't automatic. For example, flats, listed buildings, properties in conservation areas and homes where permitted development rights have been removed usually need planning permission. Please check with your local planning authority or the Planning Portal before going ahead. We're happy to give general guidance from your photos and measurements.
How should I measure my patio area for the configurator?
Measure the available wall width along the back of your home and the projection you would like from the wall towards your garden.
On a compatible Apple device, such as an iPhone or iPad, you can also use the visualizer’s augmented reality feature to help assess your space:

Can I add sliding glass doors, side walls or blinds later?
Yes. Sliding glass doors, side walls and blinds can be added in future phases. Our team can advise on compatible options for your veranda and help you plan any future additions.
What is the standard lead time for delivery and fitting?
Our typical lead time is 1–5 weeks from confirmation of your final measurements and specification, depending on stock availability and fitting schedules. We hold an extensive stock range, and items not currently available can be ordered. Professional installation usually takes 1–2 days on a prepared site. Our team will confirm the expected schedule with your quotation.
